What do you think about cosplaying/cosplayers?

I don't mind it when other people cosplay as long as they actually have a decent costume and don't totally ruin the character.
I've never wanted to cosplay because it seems like a waste of money just to wear uncomfortable clothes to me. After Super Mario Galaxy, I really wouldn't mind wearing Rosetta/Rosalina's dress
It actually looks comfortable, although to cosplay I would need to dye my hair blonde or something which I don't want to do >_>

I think it's great and that they should recieve more acceptance.  Same for LARPing.  I hope that the idea of LARPing in the woods with my D&D party becomes a reality.
