Are you going hunting?

Yes, I will
No, don't feel like it
No, there isn't a hunting season going on around here
I might, depending on the weather
I'm against hunting!

Silverhawk79

I'm not quite against hunting, I just think it's stupid.

I'm against killing any animal unless they are either smaller than one millimeter in diameter or a mosquito because I hate mosquitoes.  I talk to spiders, ants, and even roaches instead of killing them (although there are no roaches in my house).  I sometimes let ants in particular crawl on my hand :)

As for hunting as a sport, I find it unnecessary and the kind of thing you should be replacing with some FPS games.
Evidently you didn't read all of my post.  Just letting you know the truth before you vote for republican presidents.
They are anti-gun extremists.

Oh, I should refrain from going on my rants about the benefits of having guns be legal...
I did read all of your post and I don't agree with what they teach you ^_^

but anyways, it's all just opinions I guess...
I know.  But, it's a cheap alternative to having other ways to control the populations... really.
Just ask your state DNR.
I'm not trying to change your opinion or anything... just want you to be more aware of the truth :)
what if I don't like genocide?
GENOCIDE?  *facepalm*  Didn't you read this:

And before you flame me because I like hunting, which means killing animals, I'll defend my love for huning NOW.
Hunting is a cheap and economical way of perserving the environment, thanks to hunting laws and regulations.  That allows us to keep animal numbers within carrying capacity and prevent harm to the ecology.  They even avoid having hunting seasons on mating times for the animals.
You learn this stuff in hunter education (required to get a hunting liscence... so you aren't like another d*ck Cheney...), and from the NRA (Nationa Rifle Association) official magazine, American Hunter.
See?  It's not genocide...
Killing members of a population of a specific species or race intentionally without any individual discrimination within that frame = genocide
I see where you're going with the definiton...  you're right... for the most part.  You forgot a couple important peices...
1. it involves actively erradicating a certian group of living beings, not killing a few to avoid ecological problems.
2. killing through hate.

I see why you used the word... it just seems a little extreme for what hunting is.

Plus the odds of killing a deer is slim...

Well mabe if people didn't hunt wolves and mountain lions when they get bored the population would be smaller. I live by a big nature preserve where there is no hunting and the deer population is perfect. Not to many and not to little.

Well, that's what our DNR says.

Deer populations grow rapidly here, along with many other animal populations, and if we didn't, the land would be strained to keep up with all the animals, deer related car accidents would increase (straining insurance companies), and a whole lot more comes from it, like the state saving money in general.  And the restrictions prevent excessive hunting.

Okay, Phaze, that's a nature PERSERVE.  Those are areas where I do believe the state spends a crapload of money to pay rangers to keep animal numbers in check by having rangers kill them instead, and do a whole lot more to keep the environment there from being built on and stuff like that.  Am I right?

I see your not open to listening. I'm not even going to bother.

ROOk15

I just read a story about this one dude who loved hunting. He hunted like evry single animal and was conviced that his main purpose in life was to hunt. He began to get bored of hunting just animals, so he started hunting humans as well. It was pretty creepy.
Anyways, I don't really support hunting that much.

I don't see it as the human responsibility to keep down animal numbers. How would you like it if someone hunted after you? I don't belive in any kind of killing.

But I try not to think about what the thing I'm eating once was.  It just tastes too good.

If there is no sarcasm in that post you are a true faggot. Don't take this harshly or offensively.
