I tried, believe me. When SSBM came out, I learned of Marth and Roy, and as such researched the series. When I learned the games (Which sounded fun, and still do), I was ecstatic. However, I finally bought the first GBA FE to reach America (Lyn) AND... I hated it ;-; I love games that have no issue taking time for creativity, or with difficulty, but I couldn't get into it >.< I tried on and on, but it was no fun ,_, Anyone else had issues like this? Or was it just that one game?

Umm...nope. I've always liked the gameplay and story of the FE games. You weird.  :|

It'd be helpful if you told us why you don't like it.

Well, I can certainly see why someone wouldn't like Fire Emblem, although I love the series.

Trust me when I say the game gets much better as you go, the first ten chapters in Fire Emblem are basically a huge tutorial, so if you never even bothered to finish Lyn's tale, then I highly recommend you suffer through it until you get to the true meat of the game.

Well, the best thing I could suggest is follow what someone else posted and finish Lyn's quest. The game gets a lot better after that. I that fails, then I would suggest you try Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. Not only is it 3D, with better animations and even a few cutescene videos thrown it, but it doesn't have a  tutorial phase of the game like Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. If THAT doesn't work, then I'm afraid you just probably don't like Fire Emblem and should move on.
