BATMAN.

Batman, in my opinion, is an awesome character. Yes, he is rich as heck, but he uses it for charity and spends most of his time trying to scare the hell out of jay walkers anyways :P Yes, he is just a comic book character, but I think it's a lot deeper of a character then most movies or books have (Even given the fact that he has been around for nearly 80 years). He just kinda runs around Gotham City, beating up muggers, accidentally causing Drug Lords to off them selves, Assaulting people who usually live in Insane asylums, and ignoring Superman. Plus, Superman is practically an Emo nowadays. If he was real, I'd be more frightened that he'd drown me with tears of remorse then with a toast of Heat vision. Plus, Batman is "teh 1337 oorben legnd." Few folks in the books will usually know if he exists.

Anyone else read comics, or have a favorite character? Yes. my reasons weren't wonderful, and I missed a lot, but he was cool xD

I always preferred Spider-Man. Come on, he can swing around a city like New York in tights and still look awesome.

I actually prefer Spidey, since he gets to beat people up AND have super-powers, but Batman needs more respect, he never gets it :(

Yes, Batman IS awesome. However, the MAIN reason Batman owns so much is because without Batman, there would be no Joker. And Joker is the coolest, ever. [As well as some of his other great villains; Riddler, Scarecrow, Pengiun, etc]

Joker is awesome :P I remember modelling a character in a play I was in after him, and getting called the best actor of the play. The Drama director told my parents that he was concerned as to why I played my killer part so unsympathetically and that, while it worked great, it was kind of suspicious...

He's a freaking inspiration to nerds everywhere. He proves that anyone can get a chick, as long as they're as cool as Spidey.

Spider-Man and Batman have always been beyond awesome in my...book. In fact, when I was young, I wanted to be the next Batman.
