Has one ever been confirmed yet? Do you think they will make one? If so, when?

My guess is that it'll come out in a year or two from now and connect to the expansion port on the Wiimote.

I am not sure if this info is ture or not!

but anyway, i heard that there was something in the wiimote's memory/software that had to do with a microphone with the speaker........

Again i don't know if this info is ture or not!

Yeah, there was some site out there that said they took the Wii Remote apart, and found that one of the speakers was a special kind that could act as both a speaker and a microphone.  I have no clue if that's true or not, but a mic built into the Wii Remote sounds like a bad idea.

You'd hear nothing but wind when it's being swung around..
Looking for any old friends from Nsider.  If you remember me, let me know!

i wouldn't be a bad idea...if it's already in the wiimote you don't have to buy one...

Have you ever talked to someone on a Cell Phone on a windy day?  You can't hear like half of what they say...  Mulitply that by 10 and you got a Wii Remote mic during an active game...

BAD idea.

I can't particularily imagine many games that would use the mic being games that require tons of movement. And, even in games that do, you don't really need to move much. Just about everything with the Wii can be controled by simple wrist motions.

I can't imagine many of the games that would use the mic being heavily motion-oriented, to be honest. Besides, you don't really need to move very much, even in action-y games. Just about everything with the Wii can be controlled by simple wrist motions.

Doesn't High School Musical bring a microphone?
