Why do people hate the PS3 so much?

are you kidding me, the only time i played a PS3 was in target, it was fun and they have good games coming out for it, but after i played at target (which was hmmmmm about before SSX blur came out) i have yet to see a REAL working one in person.....(and yes i do get out more than you think......sorta)

Well, I don't hate it. But I do think that it's not worth having right now.
It's too expensive for the content we're getting.
There are not many exclusives.
There are only a handful of GOOD exclusives.(That means that lair and Ridge Racer does not count)
The Hardware is not really out there yet.
Not enough Play for Pay.

In almost every way and aspect, the Wii or 360 are obvious better choices. I really do think that the PS3 can do good out there, they just need to change a few things such as hardware and price.

They've dropped the price a LOT.
I think they're good, and ould get one if they had more exclusive games. Right now they have all the games 360 has basically. And 360 has more than PS3, so I'll stick with my 360. Until PS3 gets good exclusives.

People are complaining about the price for the content.

For the 360 premium package ($350) you get:
Console
Necessary cables
Wireless controller
Removable faceplate
HD component cable
Xbox live silver membership card
20 GB detachable hard Drive
Media remote
and a 360 headset

For PS3 ($399) you get:
Console w/ built-in blu-ray player
40 GB hard drive
Wi-Fi compatability
2 usb ports
Ships with Spider-Man 3 on blu-ray
Wireless six-axis controller
necessary cables

It's an obvious choice of which bundle is better AND cheaper.

Even though the PS3 has some good games, it does make up for the systems obvious pricing and playing flaws.
