I think some bosses already are playable. I think ancient minister is playable beacause he got his name when he popped up shown on the screen where Petey didn't.

I wonder if they will have a villains mode for Subspace

Not a bad idea. The should make the cutscene that starts the boss battle look like this movie (click here).

Zelda would have been seperated from Kirby, Yoshi from Link, and Zelsa has gotten captured again. Through a side scrolling level, Link reaches Gannon's lair. Then in a cutscene much like that YouTube video, but with SSBB graphics, Link frees Zelda. Then Gannon appears, and Link and Zelda team up to defeat him. And yes, there has to be dancing.

That's likely the way to unlock Ganondorf, so yes, he will be. Either that, or Vaati's Deity Form, which after beating gives you Vaati.
