Filler Characters...

Sakurai said he would add characters until he had to stop working on the game. Obviously, this leads to the conclusions that there will be several characters you will wonder why they are in there and several characters who aren't really polished in terms of fighting mechanics.

There are several characters I can think of that may fall victim to this:

Mallow
Pac-Man
Captain Olimar
Baby Mario/Baby Luigi
Ashley
Jimmy T.
9-Volt

All just because of the extra development time.

ok well i could see pacman just cause he was so big and sega is really into nintendo now, but maybe even like a duo of the babies. other than that i dont thing sakurai will throw nobodies into the game for nothing. hes got a plan and a pretty good one.

Hey, So maybe he was planning on 43 charecters but beacause of extra time he puts in more charecters some possibly being fillers, it's better than having only the 43 planned
