Kirby Superstar

How many of you have played Kirby Superstar?

It has to be one of my favorite Kirby games ever. I love all the games in one. It's really the game that got me to be a Kirby fan.

I've played it, and I actually have a pretty fun story behind it:

When I first played the game, I tried a few of the little games included with it, and I got pretty bored of them, because they were just a bunch of minigames with relatively little story. I never got around to playing the adventure story mode, because I quit on the game too early, and so I ended up believing for the longest time that Kirby Superstar was simply a compilation of minigames. :D

I finally figured out the truth, though. :P

I love the final thing you get. Where you fight all the bosses from the other games. I can still kill hours with that.

I got this game when I was a kid, and I was amazed by it. I originally thought it was all the NES Kirby games shoved into one package, but I eventually realized it was a stand alone game and was even more impressed. It is the longest Kirby game in existence, probably, and I loved every game on there. Especially the Dyna Blade and Meta Knight games, I loved the actual story behind Dyna Blade's game, and the little conversations Meta Knights followers had whenever you got closer and closer and you could see their fear building.

Also, Milky Way Wishes could probably have sold as a stand alone game is they added an extra galaxy in there. The idea behind that was so great. If they had expanded the worlds a bit, spread out or included more power ups and had a few extra planets, or an entire new galaxy after the first one I would have happily bought just that. Of course they didn't, but I did get all the other games that was included with Super Star.

Did anyone ever get all the treasures in Great Cave Escape without using a guide? I always missed one or two.

Easily one of the best Kirby games every created. Amazing Mirror is right up there with it, but Superstar has nostalgia factor. <___<

By far the best Kirby game. Everything about it is better than any other Kirby game.

I'm glad to be the proud owner of a SNES cartridge of the game. I've had it since the year it was released.

Kirby Superstar is just awesome, what I like is it has all the copy abilities that you don't see as often like feather, plasma, mirror etc.

Yes, almost the same story for me. The NES Kirby (KA) really pulled me into the fan's ranks, and Superstar padlocked the metaphorical door of my rapt attentitiveness of all Kirby news, a.k.a my fandom. =3
