Trophy shooting thing is unnecessary...

Wow. A game where you shoot trophies with coins. Didn't see that coming. Anyway, I hope Sakurai's been putting in newcomers before any of these new game modes. Sakurai must have been bored when he thought of this mode.

At least we get a side of Galaga with our smash bros.
But I admit too...it seems kinda pointless. I hope he spent just as much time thinking about the ACTUAL game rather than these extras.

Trophys shooting sounds kinda fun to me. We have shoot our coins to get trophies. I think that's better than just popping in a coin to see what you get.

Of course it's unnesessary. That's the entire point. Sakurai wants to give you something to do if you're bored with fighting, as well as making it more interesting than putting coins into a machine, hearing the repetitive noise of the lever being pulled, and a trophy you already have coming out.

Good point, but I hope these were just simple add ons to the game. He better have put in a lot of characters and stages before focusing on the coin shooting thing.
