It just really struck me that NSider is gone.  I was kinda in denial in a way.. just thinking it would be revived in some way.  Hey, maybe some day it will be.. but other than limited information available via archives.. it's gone.

Yes, there are forums that have replicated NSider, such as NS2, us, and others.. but ya know, it'll never be the same.

That was the first forum I ever went to.

All my posts are gone, and though I wasn't obsessed with ranks/posts, I put a lot into getting so far.  I took pride making it to Pianta.. even though by then, a lot of what I had loved about the place had changed.

All my personal notes, my entire profile, wonderful PM conversations, all my posts, but not the number so much as the contents, and all my friends.. my friend's list is gone.  It's all gone.. and.. I just don't have any hope of it coming back.

I clinged to the place so long after the chat threads died.. and after so many of my friends had left.  Some remained, but the place was slowly changing, and now what little I was holding onto there is gone.

I can't even remember the names of most of them.. they're gone, and there was never any chance for a proper good-bye.

..and now I can't even look back at the memories and friendships forged there..

It's really gone... :'(

Yeah, I miss it, too. It was much better than this place. I think I liked all of the veiled insults the most.

I was at "TechSider" and began to reminisce upon seeing threads about restoring this and that, and the one thread that asked about restoring the friend's list is what got me.  I recognize some users there.. but it's a different place.. ya know.
