After having played that game I feel so spoiled. I was really relieved to see that Nintendo actually put the effort to getting an RPG for the Gamecube and that the system was really lacking in RPGs and that Nintendo got this game for the system. It was much better than I thought it would be, I know the game had hype, but I didn't know the game would be that amazing. Best purchase of last gen gaming that I made last gen. It blows Super Mario Sunshine away.

Tales of the Abyss on PS2 is better, my local Gamestop has 3 copies for $15 pr spmething so when I have cash i may get one >_>.

Tales of the Abyss is a bit more drab than Symphonia, but it does play better. Symphonia II is supposed to use the same battle scheme as Abyss, it'll be as colorful as it's predecessor and smooth as Abyss.

Oh, and Skies of Arcadia: Legends, SSBM, and Wind Waker all threaten ToS on just the GameCube, imagine bringing other systems into play.

as awesome a game as it is, it's not BEST GAME EVAR.

You know, I have that game but have yet to even play it LOL. I just like my DS so much that I hardly play console games anymore.

I agree that "ToS" is an awesome game...
definitely my 2nd fav next to SSBM.

And of course Genis is my fav character ^_^

Meh battle system, story I don't give a crap about, and it was just an annoyance to play to me.

RE4, SSBM, and Wind Waker all beat that game, IMO.
And Eternal Darkness, though I still haven't beaten it.
Hell, even Baten Kaitos beat it.
