The current tier list.

It was never Sakurai's intention for tiers to exist. He wanted every character balanced and even with there own strengths and weaknesses. However it's impossible to avoid tiers in any competitive game (Pokemon's a example: lol you expect a Metapod to own a Groundon?) Anyways here's the tier list. A tier list is based on how well a character performs in a balanced area(No items, and stage is Final Destination,etc.) oh and it's usually exprimented with human players and low level computers(lv 9 computers don't actually fight like humans). Correct me if I'm wrong.

You'll notice that Speed is a great factor and there ability to reduce lag too. :o Anyways if your dissapointed with the list complain to pros at the Smashboards, not me. Whenever this tier list is posted people complain that Link, Mewtwo, Roy, Kirby, and Ganondorfare too low. OH WELL. I use Ness and Captain Falcon. It's always good to have a higher tier character to use if your low tier one is too low on the list from your opponent. Oh and don't think just because your using a high tier character that you'll win. Your skill matters more then tiers, but they still effect the way you play.

So yeah, you're a little late Commander. I've taught them a good amount of basic professional stuff. I'm not sure what I've forgot, but if you have the need to educate these under-educated Smashers, try to think more outside of the box.

I usually use 1s simply because of my own mindgame (don't want to start accepting them as real people) and 8s because 9's have inhuman reflexes. I also use 5's occasionally because anything past that DIs the same way every time.

Yes, BUT, While Ganon is VERY strong, Ganon is a fast Heavy Weight! PLAY, Most of Ganon's moves don't have a lot of lag.
