im so sad im almost hate ph

before you go flaming me and say that ph will be great and how its goin to revolutionize hand held zeldas please hear me out.

the reason i may hate ph forever is BECAUSE it is going to revolutionize handheld zeldas. now that ph its coming out every zelda game for ds will be in that format. now hear me out here i might like it but i LOVE the 2d zeldas so much.

see in the 2d zeldas there were things you could do in it that they prob cant do with this new system.

like the rocs feather/cape

fun over head battles

interesting worlds put in a fun format

more puzzling dungons.

see im a big fan of 2d zeldas i fell in LOVE with the oricle games the best so far i like ladx too but it had its good share of glitches. now we will never see the 2d zelda again and that makes me sad does anyone here feel my pain?

What they mean is that with the release of PH being on the DS in a 3D format, the age of the 2D Zelda games has basically come to an end. Being in 3D, it'll be hard or even impossible to incorporate items that were of common use in the 2D games, such as the Roc's Cape.

the guy who tried to make it died in a car crash and the project was closed u can look it up on youtube and see previews its pretty cool

Actually, the guy started a fake rumor of himself being killed so that he could basically scrap the idea entirely.

Yeah...I kinda agree with you. I wish you had the option in PH to play with the D-pad, so it's more like the good old 2D Zelda games.

yah thats what i said i "might" like it i never EVER knocked it ill never knock a zelda game...well except for the cd-is but they dont count oh and FSA for the gamecube but those are the only ones i knock

Yes, 2D Zelda games will probably never be the same. I just hope Nintendo will not use the same format with the other hand-held Zelda games.
