Has anyone come close to completing TTFAF?

Yes, I'm referring to what I see as the near impossible DragonForce song on Guitar Hero III. I just recently got the game, so I decided to give it a go. I know how hard DragonForce songs are on Stepmania, and this game is no different.

I've seen a few Youtube videos of people completing it on Expert. Crazy, I tell you. Anyways, have any of you even come close to, or just so happened to complete it? If so, what difficulty?

Medium ~ 3 stars
Hard ~ Got 80% through the song and then failed. (so close!...) Beat it! 3 stars.
Expert ~ X_X (Dies after 1%)

Easy~4 stars
Medium~4stars
Hard~3 stars(I can complete easily though.)
Expert~15%(GAH!)

I beat it on expert mode. It only took me forever. (The intro took hours in pratice mode)

I'm not even going to bother playing online until I'm at least decent at the game. Which probably won't be for awhile.

ive beat it all on 5 stars but it took several tries and for expert its just a matter of passing the intro if you do that ur allright but darn it must have took like....15 or 20 tries for me to get 5 stars
