Yeah, I've been thinking about this for a while now and I foresee the Brawl updates to become more and more exciting. I'm not gonna say they're gonna have a character each week, but maybe stuff that the fans want to see.

Why do I think think this? Brawl is set to launch in Japan on January 22nd which as of January 7th will be 15 days away. That's 12 updates remaining until Brawl's release. That isn't many if you think about it. We still have a lot to cover in Final Smashes, Special moves (Sheik confirmation?), Subspace Emissary (story, pairings, etc), starting roster (2 more iirc. 1 newcomer, 1 veteran. 1 next week - veteran, one next week - newcomer), and much more that we don't even know about yet.

Sakurai said he hates leaks of information (iirc) so he'll want to release all the juicy stuff before the actual release so these final 12 updates may be bigger and better to beat that rush of information that many will post on the internet. We will still get some (unlockables and how to get them, subspace ending and rewards, etc) but not what it would be if the Dojo wasn't around.

I can safely say we are done with the filler updates that Sakurai's been posting on the Dojo. Brawl's around the corner and Sakurai will probably celebrate well.

All that was fairly obvious. Not that it matters. Either the site will update good stuff or we'll see it all online a few days after release.

This was mainly directed at folks who say the updates will still suck. Yes, they exist. I see them enough. Lol.

Oh ho ho ho ho HOOO yes... You bet.

This is the home stretch, and I'm expecting the big guns to show up any time now.

So your saying the ray gun and Snake's last special move will be revealed?

Not in the literal sense... Metaphorically speaking ;)

It's more work for the translators than Sakurai.

It's not that much work/effort to translate anything.

If they were going to take a vaycay, they could of/should of worked on these updates ahead of time
and just simply press the update button and bam, we have our update.

Clearly though, Sakurai only did this because he was running out of things to update until the end.

Quite frankly i think the opposite will happen.
Less exciting updates.

Hey, if Sakurai is updating the whole roster and if Ness is returning he will have to put him on the site by the 24.
