today i downloaded star fox 64 for wii. i did hard path and i got to venom. i had falco and peppy with me and....i died. i lost 6 lives to starwolf . anybody remenber that?

Damn Star Wolf. You have a -100% chance of winning...without Hyper Lasers and a high life bar (Mostly Hyper Lasers. In the year I've had this game on the VC...I can't beat them.)

It's a shame you get the laser upgrade after killing them. It's annoying coming all that way to be killed, with no hope of succeeding afterwards. I really want to try the original Star Fox now...and Star Fox 2.

I used to be able to do that on the N64 without letting any teammates die. Then when I played it on the VC I sucked so bad ;-;

It's hard to play with the Classic Controller, but easier with the GC. I like the CC for some reason.

I find it fun to let my teammates die ;D

Having all 4 after you, and surviving, is quite an accomplishment.

I usually let Slippy die because he annoys me but, I keep Peppy and Falco(even if they are no use when you have to fight Andross...)

I have NEVER lived through Star Wolf with all of my Teammates alive. Also, I beat it after they killed all my teammates.

i almost beat the game but i crashed into androsses brian when he had 1 eye left

I used to have the same problem. All I can say is that try to keep your distance. Make sure you have bombs also. That will get rid of the eyes quicker. That's what I did. Jeez...but, Star Wolf will always pose a big threat in this game than in any other. They were easy on Assault.

I remember beating the hard Star Wolf team with a single laser... has it gotten harder on the VC? And MAN does this make me want to play SF64! I haven't played it in forever.

The only problem is though if you want the medal they all have to be alive.

Ugh, if only you could get POWER-UPS during the fight. Maybe you could present them with a bomb. If you take the alternate Meteo exit, and preserve all your 9 bombs during the game, it should be easy.
