I don't think the resizing really affects Ridley's chances...

And if anything, Kirby would have increased Ridley's chances A LOOOONG time ago as he's only 8 inches tall.

Seeing as his boss battle music has already been updated on the Dojo, it seems likely that Ridley will be in the game in some shape or form, whether as a Boss or a character.

Don't forget the fact that there is a Norfair stage now... Ridley has been mentioned numerous times on the Dojo, just like Hyrule Temple and Ness... they will all be in!
