It's because it's easier to spread HIV through Buttsex than any other kind. Supposedly, all gay guys have buttsex, so that means they all have HIV, so they can't donate.

I learned that from a gay guy at my school. He was pretty mad that he couldn't donate blood because of his sexuality.

I can understand that they're probably concerned about that AIDS that gay people could catch and pass on, but isn't they're tests for STDs and other crap like that? Maybe it's because if people found out they got an organ from a homosexual, they'd be mad, grossed out, etc.
