Sakurai's definitely going on the right track! =D

With character additions like Wario, Meta Knight, Ike, Diddy Kong, Sonic, King DeDeDe, and now Olimar, Sakurai really seems to be adding Nintendo All-Stars to Brawl.

Of course if you had told the average NSider 5 months ago, that a generic Pokemon Trainer would be in Brawl, they would have laughed in your face (err at their monitor but you get the point :P). But then when Sakurai did add PT, everyone loved the idea and embraced the character, leaving everyone thinking that it really wasn't such a bad idea after all. Pokemon Trainer paved the way for even more unique characters, such as Olimar and possibly others.

Months before, when Solid Snake was announced the Internet almost crashed. It meant that now, 3rd party characters could be added to Brawl, opening the gates to various characters and everyone ran wild with ideas. Then came the announcement of Sonic the Hedgehog and the fanboys everywhere went wild. The most wanted character was finally added to Brawl! Now everyone was wondering who might possibly take up the next spot. Which one of the men would it be? Megaman? Bomberman? Pacman? Rayman? Or would it be a totally different surprise?

Fast forward to our current state, where we've learned of 12 veterans and 12 newcomers and the release is near. Will the veterans that we know and love, like Luigi, Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, Jigglypuff, Falco, and Marth be returning? Will we be seeing even more of the Nintendo All-Stars that we've been dreaming of, such as Ridley, Animal Crosser, Krystal, King K. Rool, and Megaman?
I sure hope so.  :D
