Smiley Square

Yup, it's this square guy, whose real name we don't know! Sakurai seems to like creative characters, Smiley Square is creative, and so he could be in Brawl!

But...who is he!?
He's one of the smiles from Pictochat. You know...the one that smiles?

He's only been in one game!
The Ice Climbers were also in one game.

He can't be in Brawl, he's third party!
Who said that? Smiley Square was in Pictochat, a NINTENDO game. Plus third party characters can be in Brawl.

He doesn't have moves!
Sakurai is creative you know. He can throw letters, he can throw a sun or a phone at people, he can even fly for a bit using the cloud (all of these ideas are inspired by the game Pictochat)!

He is too tiny.
He can be made bigger. No problem. Did you ever notice that some characters in the series are not actual size? 

He is 2D and not 3D!
Mr. Game & Watch isn't 3D is he?

We don't know his real name!
We didn't know Mr. Game & Watch's real name either until Melee came. 

He doesn't appear in a popular game.
Pictochat may not be so popular, but that game is included with EVERY Nintendo DS! It's just like Wii Sports!

Well...err...he doesn't have legs.
He can roll.

You're stupid! That's like saying the Letter M for Brawl!
The letter M's first appearance was not Pictochat.

I don't want him in the game!
That is an opinion! 

Information:
A Moves: He will spin around.
Side A: He will roll forward and anyone he touches will be sent flying a few inches.
Up A: Jumps up in the air and spins while in the air.
Down A: He will shrink and then pop up again damaging someone.

Up B- A cloud will appear below him and carry him up. Does minor damage but is a good recovery move.
Down B- Two snowman pop out of the ground, causing some damage and also protecting him from attacks for a second.
Side B- Throws a letter (minor damage) or sometimes a cell phone (does %40 damage) the way he is facing.
Normal B Attack-Throws a random letter at someone. Charge the attack long enough and he throws a Japanese letter (MORE DAMAGE!)

Final Smash-Scribble: A stylus appears. Use the control stick to paint circles around opponents. Every time you paint one circle around an opponent it will do %10 damage. (Similar to Art Attack from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door).

Taunt-Takes out an alarm clock (ring ring!)

He won't be happy always (that would be creepy). When hurt, his expression changes. When sleeping, his expression changes and so on. I mean him being happy forever would be creepy. When he walks, he actually rolls. And he doesn't glide but he has an umbrella.

I'm pretty sure that you're right and that it says at the top of my first post that it was taken from Oldsider.

When he has grabbed and item it will just be on his side as if he grabbed it with no hands
