I really don't like Geno to begin with, but I'm pretty sure Sakurai mentioned him specifically in his journal a couple times which is interesting.

Sigurd is the main lord of Fire Emblem 4, I believe.
He's rumored to be Sakurai's favorite FE character.[/color]
MOTHER Franchise
36. Claus
Claus is the antagonist of MOTHER 3 and since Sakurai apparently likes MOTHER 3 I put him in my roster.
Golden Sun Franchise
40. Isaac
Isaac is the protagonist of the Golden Sun series, an RPG series that was on the GBA. I know very little about this character, but I saw many requests for him on OldSider.
Custom Robo Franchise
42. Ray 01
Ray 01 is the main robot in the Custom Robo series.

What about a newcomer to the Yoshi franchise like Kamek or the babies? Maybe even Shy Guy. :P I think the series should have one more character since they didn't put Yoshi under the Mario name in the first place.

I wouldn't mind Kamek or Baby Mario & Luigi, but I don't think there will be a new Yoshi rep in Brawl.

I'm sorry but Team Rocket's greatest chance would have been Meowth and we know what happened to him and both Mario and Pokemon have too many reps as it is.

yeah ive kind of abandoned the jesse and james idea, but team rocket has a fairly good chance.
there are a bunch of pokemon at the level of PT's Pokemon that could be on Rocket's list.
