In most Zelda games Link was young not teenaged, so why did they put in Adult Link as normale Link?

Legend of Zelda - Adult
Zelda 2: Adventure of Link - Adult
A Link to the Past - Child
Link's Awakening - Child
Ocarina of Time - Both
Majora's Mask - Child (I'm not counting FD Link)
Oracle of Seasons - Child
Oracle of Ages - Child
Four Swords - Child
Wind Waker - Child
Four Swords Adventures - Child
The Minish Cap - Child
Twilight Princess - Adult
Phantom Hourglass - Child

Child - 11
Adult - 4

see where I'm coming from?

Geno

Because the model was taken from Ocarina of Time in the original Smash bros.

QingXin

What Geno said...

Also, Adult Link has a bigger plethora of items and skills at his disposal :P

There is no adult Link.  The older Link is seven years older so that makes it impossible for him to be an adult.  Link is TP looks more like a teenager than adult anyway.

id say twilight link looks 18-20.
i think its pointless to have young link in brawl unless he is ww link

Java

That's why there should be a Young Link in Brawl, but he has to be decloned and I'd hope WW style.

they could do sooo much with him.

Actually, "Adult Link" is only 17, but I see your point. :P I think he was a child in the Original LoZ, too. Anyway, I think Young Link will return, simply because he's the "true Link".

Cornwad

Link is a child in Zelda 1 and 2... TP and OoT are the only ones where he is an adult :P

JrDude

Even if I agree (which I do)
Adult Link was first, therefore, the original.

He looks like an adult in Zelda 2, and Zelda 2 takes place several seasons after Zelda 1, so he would be an adult in both of them

When I said Adult I meant Teenager, in most Zelda games he looks around 10, in others he looks around 16 -18.

10 - Child
16-18 - Adult

How many Zelda fans call him teenage Link? Not many he is mostly called Adult Link
