Help With Downloading Game Demos

Ok, I know how to download them and everything but some of them do take a while. I know you can play  a game or another demo that connects to XBox Live for the time being. If I didn't, is there a sleep mode or something I could enter? Or do I just need to leave the console on and go do my own thing.

Just leave your console on. Some demos take a while. I never did figure out why demos take up more memory than games.

Oh ok. And about that game and demo thing. Maybe because for a game iot is a save file, not the whole game/ demo file. Or did you mean like downloading arcade games?
