Because there is no reason for it. Don't go wining "He is gonna make it betterr!!!1" Japan's release date was pushed back 7 days, what's is he gonna do in 7 days?

I wasn't. I was going to say you're all acting like a bunch of idiots for threating him over something that he has no control over. Sakurai's only job is to make the game. He made the game. It got a week delay in Japan because he probably went overboard adding in stuff, or there was a problem with manufacturing or whatever. He was never responsible for the American translation. Nintendo of America alone is responsible for translating. The American gaming industry took a 2-week end of year vacation. Japan did not. Americans have to secure English voice actors for their games. Japan does not. Nintendo of America decides upon the release dates in the Western Hemisphere. Nintendo of Japan does not. If you are going to accuse someone, accuse the right group; all you are doing is attacking the messenger, in the same way you did with Andy. The problem is local, so treat it as such.

Oh. Great points. They took a 2 week vacation? that could be two weeks off the delay. >:(

Mabye NoA is the one to blame, and they are behind on their translations/advertising. He probably just delayed Japans so we wouldn't get too mad :D

At least they gave us SONIC last delay....and they give us a stage today on this (the horribly WORSE delay)? that's just sad
