How do I make an animation on GIMP?

Each layer is a frame. Save as Animated Gif

Every layer is a frame, save as a .gif when done.

Go to Dialogs>Layers

Find an Animation Tut there, you may want to try some sig tuts first to familiarize yourself iwth Gimp and layers though.
