I checked on IGN, which I have always trusted more than anywhere else for reviews, and I noticed that not a single next-gen (err, I guess now its "current gen") game has gotten a perfect 10/10.  So I'm wondering, do you think Brawl will make it?

:O
It will get a 9.8 or a 9.9.

No game is absolutely perfect, they gave OOT a 10 simply because it revolutionized the genre.

And this game will revolutionize the Wii...
Whatev. NP will give it a 10.... Like they did with MP3...
I'll laugh if the score is an 11..... :D

it sure deserves a 10.
some of it is over the top, but theres so much content that anyone can have fun.
i wonder what melee was rated

HTA!

It wont get a 10 because... and this is not how i feel....

"It didn't utilize the Wii's motion capability."

Gamespot will do the same, i lost a lot of faith in them when they scored Radiant Dawn a 5.6....

Not at all...

Where have you been for the past year?

Rius

Everyone's problem with Melee was lack of extended single player, and Brawl certainly remedies that. Also, Brawl is now one of the legendary Famitsu 40, and the gaming magazine's opinion is highly revered in America when in comes to those games, so that greatly increases it's chances of a 10. Finally, they've played the game in its development stages and have had no complaints (that I'm aware of), so Brawl is looking perfect across the board. Well, except maybe GameSpot.

Motion sensing. What, did they expect Sonic and the Secret Rings or something? Sakurai said the game wouldn't focus on motion sensing, so it won't. >>

Ummm... listen if nunchuck plus wii-mote has MORE buttons than just WiiMote so it doesn't even need motion sensing...

And Sakurai said he dint want to use it anyway.

Nayrman

IGN should at least give it a ten. They're obsessed with this game as much as we are. I worry about Gamespot and all the gaming mags though. For some reason they all hate Nintendo (save maybe EGM, but they've proven me wrong before)

Well, we aren't completely sure yet. The game seems to equalize between the controls, but maybe there's some unreleased incentive for using the Wii Remote in maybe the ending credits or something. >>. Oh well, I'm getting it regardless, so it doesn't really matter.
