On topic, I don't like the song at all. It's not my type of hip-hop/rap, but I can see why people like it. Dancing to it - and most all snap songs - is usually darn fun.

Of course, there are people who like rap because it's "popular." I, myself, thrive in the 70's-90's in terms of music, because, in my opinion, that's where the best of it happened. It's not like people should be forced to accept one's opinion, but... Soulja Boy has been coined as one of the worst rap songs ever by people who like other kinds of rap other than mainstream. =\

and he was immature for making that song.  despite how much he's made off of it, it's just overall an immature song with immature lyrics and immature people who like it.  "superman that ho".   justify that.  It should've stayed online like The Chocolate Rain guy (though he did kinda sell out) and Bo Burnham.

you'll want to take note that alot of us are in school bands/jazz bands, and know what real music is (not that jazz is the only real music or anything like that, but we realize what is good enough to be considered music).

Actually, it is. Rap follows predetermined patterns, beats. There are even people "singing/rhyming/rapping/whatever". So, yes. It is music.

You're putting your opinions forth as real facts. I, personally, like rap, and you like your "real music". I'm not going to say rap is the best or only kind of actual music. For all I care, I could say any genre is, it's all about personal opinion on what can be considered true music.
