I've decided that my definition of "run" is now:

Run (noun): a small eagle or similar bird of prey carved out of limestone.

So, if I were to say something like "OMG! RUN AWAY", what would you do?

I'd say that I can't do that, fine sir, because limestone eagles aren't verbs in my mind.

And if I were to say "I LIKE PIE", what would you do?

Actually, it is. Rap follows predetermined patterns, beats. There are even people "singing/rhyming/rapping/whatever". So, yes. It is music.

You're putting your opinions forth as real facts. I, personally, like rap, and you like your "real music". I'm not going to say rap is the best or only kind of actual music. For all I care, I could say any genre is, it's all about personal opinion on what can be considered true music.

When did I state my opinion as fact? That's what always catches people.  I state my opinions strongly, so they assume that I'm trying to pass it as something that applies to everyone.

Why would you just complain about one song? Sure, it's over played, but the reason is OTHER PEOPLE LIKE IT. If you want music you like to be played, like the popular music.
