my chem mark dropped from 85 to 52.5 from grade 11 to 12.

but I've pulled it up since then, and our passing mark is 50%.

People should start getting graded on a s and us scale.

it was mostly because my teacher the previous year (the one who gave me an 85%) was teaching his first year, and didn't even major in chemistry.  he was also slack, so I knew half of what I needed to when I came into this year's chem course.  I was then dropped into the class of the teacher who knows what he's doing, and teaches well, but is incredibly boring.  But the problem was that I wasn't able to learn half of what we did last year because I didn't know that I was missing anything, because the teacher was so inept.

I've managed to bring my chem mark to about a 62% since then though.

I have the same teacher from last year again in physics next semester, I think, but he was a physics major in university, so maybe it'll be better.

I just got my report card finally. I failed my algebra II class as I expected, but somehow I'm still surprised. A f***ing 58%. f***ing 58%. Do you know how f***ing close that is to a D?  :'(

I'm gonna have to repeat it next year. Except I won't need to repeat the second semester because I know I'm getting an A this time.  8)
