Syobon Action (Cat Mario) is definitely one of the trickier 'games' I've played.

Wizardry 4: Return of Werdna

This is the hardest game ever made, period. I had to use a guide in order to beat this game, AND IT WAS STILL THE HARDEST F*CKING GAME THIS SIDE OF THE MULTIVERSE!!!

The only reason I can think of for anybody to attempt to beat this game is to have the bragging rights.
