Would the Wii be able to read both the layers, or would you have to be flipping the disc every once in a while?

I dunno. I'm thinking that you might have to flip the disc when you're switching between single player and co-op/2 player/wi-fi.

Wii uses the standard dual layer DVD discs I believe. It basically just means you can fit more on there since ther are two layers (it's not like cassetes where you flip them over though....if anyone here is old enough to remember those gawd awful things)

Yeah, all 360 games are double layred due to it's enhanced graphics, but since brawl is focusing more on gameplay, we should be expecting a s*** load of content. :)

I think that with the Wii, dual-layering is done by putting information on the back of the disc and on the edge.

So it would read the back and the edge at the same time.

I better be careful with both parts now... X_X

Well, we know that this game has been in production almost as long as my other most wanted game (Banjo-Threeie, since 1999)

and they seem to have been working on it the entire 6 years! :O
