Where do people Import Japenese Fire Emblem games from?

Besides, a lot of the time people don't usually import, they just get the ROMs.

What site would you buy them off of. Ebay is like 200 bucks for one game. I don't want the Roms. They make me feel dirty. :P

If you'd prefer to be a good boy and get the imports, there's two options.

First, we've got playasia.com, a site that specializes in import products, including games.

Second, we could wait and see if the games are released on the Wii Virtual Console, since import titles have started coming.

I got the first Fire Emblem and a Famicom. I was stationed in Japan when I got it.

I thought I remember hearing that Japan-only Sin & Punishment get released to the US VC. Of course, what I'd really like is a huge remake of FE4&5 (easily the 2 best games in the series, though NoA would sensor it badly.)

Playasia.com is probably your best source for importing. I've only imported one time from there but I like their service. However, the only game I was fortunate enough to import was Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi (which is a great game btw) for about $58 (US). Personally, if you have money, I would suggest not to wait on some games because like Linkmaster said "nintendo doesn't love us like that" so I wouldn't get your hopes up for any Japanese VC games.

Playing FE6 in Jap. isn't all that hard. Most of the items, classes, stats, and whatnot you can recognize from the other GBA games. Also, you can get an online script on the web if you want to read the story. The web does help you a lot just so you know.

Anyhow, that is my advice to you if you feel like importing.

If you do not like ROMs and you do not wanna spent a ton importing you could either of the following:

1.) Wait for the VC imports
2.) Wait for the DS remake of Fire Emblem 1.

I was going to get FE6 but it would cost too much. I guess I'll wait for the DS remake of 1 and dream of FE6.

Yeah, at least you will get to play the remake of the first which I am also waiting for too. As far as FE6 goes, if you decide to wait over ROMing it, I commend you. I would say 75% of the people who've played FE6 ROM'd it but like telling people they imported it. And honestly, people can brag all they want about how they played FE6 but you just got to ignore those people. Anyhow, dream on and I hope those who wait will get rewarded.
