HTA!

This is such a mofo...
I was doing fine until my ballista broke and the hawks got to me...

Any suggestions?
I'm contemplating starting the whole thing over since my Dawn Brigade sucks some serious arse.

If your dawn brigade is bad then I suggest starting over. Or you could keep trying your bound to get lucky at some point.

The one where Ike's forces cant cross the line.

Edward is fine on the offensive front, but he can get killed by the lowliest of enemies due to horrid defense.
Nolan isn't much better either.

Try to use your allied units well as much as possible. Does your Micaiah have  a physic? If so then heal the allied generals by that place where they can hop up. Then put Taureno in between them on the level above. Give Taureno some kind of ranged weapon so he can help out. If a hawk comes and an allied unit is at low health, don't heal him, the hawks will attack him then instead of crossing the line, then your allied units can deal with the hawk. Also put Sothe and Edward at the remaining to openings, just so you know, my Sothe didn't have to fight in that battle and Edward got in one battle because I put him out in the middle.

*Wishes leonardo didn't suck/died*
I'll try...

I think they rigged it, almost all of the DB battles had allied units so the normal ones got like no XP.
Ah well...

Yeah my leonardo died earlier. He had killed 1 enemy in the entire game on the last DB chapter. :P

That's funny because Edward naturally caps most his stats, Nolan is a great unit, Micaiah isn't too bad, Sothe is good, and Tauroneo sucks.

What happened to Jill, Zihark and those other units? You didn't let them all die, did you?

Hm?
Jill sucked 0-0
Lvl 17 and only 24 HP, i couldn't keep her alive if i wanted to in those battles.

My Edward was RNG screwed on Def or something..., Lvl 20/3 Swordmaster with 13 def and cant dodge for crap?
I know that SM's don't have good defense, but jeez...
Nolan is the only one who can hold his own and Sothe can obviously...

Miciaih is okay, but she can be doubled by almost anything so...
I think i just did a sh*** job of training them... >_<

Sounds like you messed up somewhere. Probably overused Sothe in the beginning, or something... Still, snipe the hawks with ballistae and Micaiah.

I thought only snipers could use Ballistate.....
hmm....
What  weapons do you have for your group?

Also you shouldn't overuse sothe in the beginning...
I learned that the hard way.. >_<

Did you ever use any of the Caravan Bonus Exp?
that helps alot.

Give edward a long range weapon....
Then put him, Nolan, and someone else on the climbing area in the middle of the level.
Since Laguz have no long range attacks, you'll be fine, plus they can't get up there.....

make sure to pack alot of Vulnerary/Concoctions with you... especially to the people who are out on the frontline...
When The Greil mercaneries arrive, make a run for it, let all your allies man down the fort, because if one reaches a unit, they are as good as gone....

Sothe is like lvl 18 with caravan bonus >_<

Ill try again, the problem was there were more hawks than ballistea fire...
But i didn't use them all on hawks so i got an idea.

Use hold until a hawk comes, and then use roam once it comes to obliterate it and save arrows and then halt again.
This would also save my units from dieing as fast...
