Slow-paced: RPG's, simulations, strategies, adventure, puzzle, board/table-top games.
Fast-paced: Shooters, action games, sports/racing, platformers, hack & slash, fighters.

Personally, I like the slow-paced games a little more, because most of them don't bound my playing to an artificial time limit.  I could spend all the time I want preparing and executing what I want to do.  Action games are quick time-burners, but they're kind of frustrating if you die a lot.

I like my casual games to be fast, but in games that allow me to explore, I like to take my time.

But I play casual games more, so...that.

Caaaasual games eh?  What kind of games be they?  Are you talking more like party games or like random internet games?

Platformers, I guess party games, crazy games, rhythm-action games, random Internet games, etc.

Both. I've especially grown fond of scrolling shooters recently. Ikaruga rawks my sawks.

Yeah, Ikaruga is really awesome, but I've never been able to beat it. :(
I wonder if there's many developers that make 2D scrolling shooters anymore.

amplas

I'd go with both for the simple reason that I like Zelda and FE.

Mainly slow-paced games. I mainly play RPGs, so I like being able to take my time.

The only fast-paced games I like are balls-to-the-wall action games, like Duke Nukem and Doom.

The Seventh

It don't matter to me.

As long as the game isn't crappy, I don't mind if it's slow paced or fast paced.

Tupin

Both ends of the spectrum.

Animal Crossing and Call of Duty 4 are examples.

Both.

I love RPG's, strategy games, and puzzle games. I also love fighting games, racing games and platformers. I like other genre's too I just don't want to list them all.

I'm pretty much split. :D
