I'll think I'm going to make an adventure game in the style of old Tim Schafer games. I might need some help designing it. I can hire a team of you (For free, of course) to help make it. Yes, this shall be the beginning of Freak Show Games.

Also, if my game turns out great, I'll be creeped out, because I share a birthday with Tim Schafer. And Stanley Kubrick and Mick Jagger, but that's besides the point. Yay July 26th.

Let's see here...

Adventure Game Studio, Visionaire, and Wintermute. I tried getting SLUDGE, but it wouldn't work. All of these are free, by the way.

I hope you have some experience in coding and scripting, or you know somebody who does; otherwise making a video game will be pretty darn difficult. If everything works out, let me know. I love to write, so I'd be more than happy to do the game's writing.

By the way. It's been years since I last played, but didn't Tim Schafer make the excellent Monkey Island games?

I MIGHT be able to program somethings, debug, and test the software. Maybe do some 3-D effects.
BTW you like to write, I suck at writing stories. :)

What better way to improve your programming skills than designing an indie game? Not only would it be an interesting thing to do, it wold also greatly improve your chances of landing a good job in that career, if you choose to pursue it. Anybody can get a degree in computer programming and such, but if you already have some experience under your belt, then you have an even better chance of being hired.

And yes, I love to write. Hell, I even enjoy writing research papers.  ;D

I also have some experience in synthesizing music and sound effects, so I could help out there as well.

I'll model characters with my Lightwave 3-D animation program  :O

Riosan

I could help with story development, level design, and alpha/beta/gamma test it.

Hmmm...

Can you make it look 2D? Not cel-shading, but I'd much prefer 2D characters and whatnot.

And holy crap, everyone's helping. Wasn't expecting that.

Probably not considering it's a 3-D program
