I've tried apologizing to my friend and he won't forgive me. I've been depressed over the last few days because he wouldn't talk to me, but even after trying to say how sorry I am and for him to totally disregard me afterwards, I say screw it.

Well, it would be a lot easier if you gave a description of what happened to cause this. Other then that Id have to say, after time your friend will either forget about it, best to have time do it's work, then end up making it worse, though hard to see if your just saying sorry.

well, in my other post a few days ago, I said I snatched a 5 dollar bill out of his hands and didn't give it back to him until the last period of the day. Yeah, you're right. If he really was my real friend in the first place he wouldn't be doing this.

Well, if you were good friends he would have known you wouldn't actually have done something like that. And you didn't, so it's not really as a big of a deal as he's making it out to be.

He started to dislike you and didnt want to be your friend anymore. He was trying to find a way to not be your friend anymore but couldnt think of anything. He didnt want to say it to your face because he didnt have the guts to. So right at that moment when you took his dollar, he saw his way out of that friendship. He knows he is exaggerating but he really has no other plan and this was the easiest way out of that friendship.
