it looks more futuristic, but before it looked like land mines from MGS. There's no real reason to change that.

I just hate the whole direction nintendo is headed. :|

It actually is not too bad really and I think that is closer to the design in MGS4 while the first is closer to the design in MGS3.

ness was revealed second. ergo, he's a clone.

Also, rumor has it that sakurai wanted to replace Ness with Lucas ever since SSBM, but he didn't have time to do so.

Ganondorf's lack of an original moveset is the most disappointing. his B moves are the same, with slightly different animations, except for his side B.
