My School's Bio Teacher failed half of the freshman class... again :P

So today I learned I passed Bio but at the parent teacher conference I wasn't about to go on a line that filled half of the room just to talk to the worse teacher in the school on why I got a 67 on my mid-terms, the only mid-term i ataully studied for. In fact half of the freshman class will now be getting some edumaction from him because the fail his and another class. Also if you think he's not a bad teacher then your wrong.

Last marking period over 40% of the students fail once class. bio.

I am not making this stuff up. Our bio teacher has once again done it. He has proved he speaks utter gibberish and should be fired. Sadly he is our only teacher in our school with cappable knowlege of the subject though so we are stuck with him for another semster of failage.

So once again I prepare for the worst.

Sorry to hear that. I am a planning on being a geneticist and biology is what got me into the field. I think it's awesome. I got one two wrong on my mid term. And, we don't have to do stupid Parent Teacher conferences. Sucks for you. Sorry

Pff...I wouldn't doubt it. The point is, he practically expected the students to know the things by now...Knowing that none of us has ever had a physical science class before that year.

My teacher speed talks, gives on 3 options for your grade on assignments Full, Half, None, and ninnyes at you when you don't write anything for 5-10 seconds. Oh, everything we do and everything she says is pretty much continually looped poop.

Maybe you should consider the possibility that it's your fault, not his. If he's that stupid, just play his game and get on with your life. It's not going to seriously damage you if you're smart enough.

don't teachers usually get into trouble if they fail half their class?  usually it's a sign that they can't teach poop and/or they don't care if they teach anything.
