advice on my main? (spoiler, I guess)

I'm torn on whether to main sheik or toon link.  sheik was my main in melee, and I was incredible with her, and with her dair now spiking and her chain as a tether recovery, along with her awesome final smash, make her just a completely awesome character.  But on the other hand, toon link is not only for nostalgic reasons (wind waker was my favorite video game ever, other than SSBM, of course :)), and also, he looks like a really good character, with incredible combo potential and awesome moves (namely fair, spin attack, bombs, etc.).  so, to anyone who has the japanese version, who do you think I should main?

I know there's no law, but I'm a perfectionist and I only like maining 1 character.

I"d usually stick to whomever you feel more comfortable with once you play.
And bad idea maining as only 1 person. You should always have at least one other character you're at least good with (I usually like to have three)

Yeah, I know, and it is really sad too. But hey, that makes it easier for me to win since there is a high chance they are playing a character that doesn't fit their style in the least.

I actually picked Marth because I was good with him in Melee, and from VIDS Wolf seems my type. Odds are I'm probably going to suck as him though.
Okay then, from VIDS who do you THINK may be your main?

Unless they were at the E for All.  I plan of using Meta Knight but I'm using some of the veterans I kicked ass with in melee.

I'll definitely change my "mains" once I play, but for now I like to go on which character looks fun to play as.

Unless the character has changed greatly, in which case it doesn't matter how good you were with him/her in Melee :(
