No one could really predict the shutdown of Nsider. There were obvious signs though. Like the Bidoof board never being made (lol, I know it was a joke), the kirby skin seemed to have disappeared, Ask Andy was cancelled and rescheduled, twice, and the lax moderation in Power On (I only know it was lax in power on because that is pretty much the only board I mainly went to).

It'll be back though, probably in March in time for Brawl, or at least in spring before Mario Kart Wii.

the two things I missed the most were

1. The great time me and mt friends had in my fan fiction thread.
Taking about suggestions and Character requests and such....

2. My old friends...

I have only found two friends here...
I had about 20 more friends...

And I miss them all... :( :( :(
