yea too bad it was suppose to be a No Items match. i was trying my best to stay away from smash balls and pokeballs.

I don't see any rules saying that it's supposed to be No Items.

"-Items: No items" signifies no items, therefore you should not be using items. If you get a chance to redo the match without items, do so. If not, I have to count that one.
