Should there have been more sonic characters?

think about it. many people predicted tails, knuckles, shadow, and amy would be playables along sonic. i for one, strongly disagree with any of those other sonic characters being playable. i like sonic as the only rep for his third party franchise. i'm not even sure if i like those characters being assist trophies.

I'll talk using what did Snake said in one fan fiction I've readed a while ago about more Sonic characters:

"More (swear)in people like you? No, bull(curse), we have enough (curse) like you (swear)in are, seriously more (lot of profanities) will be the end of the (swear)in tournament"

Tails or Knuckles I think would've been aceeptable, but I'm fine with no one else at the moment. Maybe in the future they could get in, but for the first time, just Sonic is fine.

Who predicted that? I must slap them virtually. Anyway, I care for none of those characters, save Shadow... I wonder what would have happened if he was chosen over Sonic...

if they put those guys in they would have had to put more metal gear solid characters in as well. if they really wanted a third party it should have been someone for final fanatasy or even someone like spyro.

Tails and/or Knuckles should have been an AT, and Shadow should have been an alt cotume.

No. Honestly, Sakurai had limited third-party spaces, so why would he waste them over-repping the Sonic franchise. I doubt even another Sega character would have made it. There's no sense in giving one third party company loads of representation.

No. Alternate costume for Sonic as Shadow would be kind of cool, but that's it.
