The CPU players.
In the original Smash bros. they went for every single item in the game, even the weak ones. But then in Melee they only went for the good items, ONLY THE GOODS.

How do you think they'll be acting now?

From what I can tell, they are fairly good players, and even know some of the more advanced techniques........item wise, you can bet the Pokeball, AT, Smash Ball, Heart, and Hothead all are huge targets, but they will only go for them in the need.

They are quite persistent at getting their Smash Balls, however.

I don't remember the CPU's going after every item on SSB's...

I think they'll go after the items they did in SSBM and also the new ones that more or less guarantees a win.
(easy win)

Dare I say that when the Smash Ball appears they know to try to go after that?
I hope not. Lol  :D

The fact is, L9's know how to use them effectively, not be stupid like L9's in Melee, who would throw a Pokeball off of the edge.

I always hated that.... as soon as a Pokeball was right by them and I couldn't get it, I'd be prepared for what ever
popped out, but No, they throw it off the stage..

I'm like, "Awww!!" :(

Hmm, whenever I play they tend to always go for the good items even when they don't need them. They're just practically being power hungry.

Nope, they went for ALL the items. Even the weakest ones that don't even help them out in battle

So... is their fighting AI any better this time around?

Most of the time they just throw it straight to the ground. But yeah, they occasionally tend to be idiots and throw them off the cliff

I only used items when I was messing around, so it isn't a huge deal to me ;D

@HTA: From what I have seen at a demo I played, yes.

Macks been holding out on us.

I wouldn't say it was a demo really, more like the full game for you to play...but long lines made it so I only got 3 minutes D:
