So, how many times did you, "Trip"? (Spoilers?)

I've noticed randomly that I'd find my character on his/her butt when in the midst of attacking.

It's not like I'm spamming the same attacks over and over again (thats not the case), it's just that
when I charge for a strong attack, or start running After/before attacking or What ever, "BAM"
it's as if I slipped on a banana peel or something?

Has this happened to you? Does this annoy you? Do you find it funny?
Why do you think it was put in?

Tripping is random.

Thankfully, it doesn't happen to me that much. I don't see why Sakurai added it.

I'm pretty sure it's random.  One time when I slipped with Meta-Knight (yesterday), I ran into Mario, who was my opponent, and he launched off at 2% damage like he was at 300%.

I find it annoying...seeing as that I'm on a roll and then BLAM! Before I know it

How can Meta Knight trip anyway? It's somewhat funny, but pretty annoying. It doesn't happen to me too much.

I tripped when i was doing an event match, i was like...did pit just shoot me with an arrow..wait im not fighting pit..and his arrows dont make me fall!  :P

if they were trying to make this game realistic, there would be no point in playing anyone other than captain falcon, because as soon as you picked him, you would win out of sheer awesomeness.

I think it happens when you try to dash dance or do something similar to that.

In Boss mode, I needed health badly, So I was gonna jump over the portal to the next boss, but I tripped and rolled into the portal instead.
I died shortly after that. :(
