I did twice.

The first time I did it, I was already falling off of a stage and  lost him.

The second time it was done by a CPU on New Pork City in Classic Mode.

Yeah, he's pretty rare.

3 times. Once in Smashville (1st time), second in the created stage I made (He lasted...for 3-4 minutes...), and third was today.

He was the first one I ever saw. 3 times in the same day. >_< He also appeared at the Brawl tournament. Everybody yelled for them to shut him up, and they started attacking him after a while. But what was cooler was that Celebi was the first Pokeball in the melee tournament. :)
