All they care about is the money that comes from the games. Not what the gamers actually want.

Do you see how much they advertise the fact that Snake and Sonic are in the game? Way too much.

It's even on the back of the game. What's the point of them being "secret" then? We can also go back to that wi-fi thread you posted. I mean, look at what my friend said about the Halo custom maps. You can pick spawn points and you can even browse through player's maps on the computer.

It's because you pretty much HAVE to accept it if you want to play Brawl to it's fullest.

Then again, it could be worse. They could remove the ability to send snapshots, replays, and stages (can stages be sent?) to friends and the spectator option. Heck, team battle could even be taken away seeing MKDS without Battle mode.

Stop comparing everything to stuff such as halo.
The wii is the first majorly wifi system from nintendo (save the ds) and they are doing what they can. they cant perfect it all in one shot
