bottled water or tap water?

I like tap water more because it tastes better and I have never seen any proof of bottled water being healthier. If you want more proof just watch the penn and teller bullpoop video on this subject.

So which do you prefer, and why?

This is serious?  I guess it can be to some extent.  I don't drink water regularly.  I'm going to get kidney stones in my future, I just KNOW it.

From what I learned in 8th grade Earth Science, Long Island has great aquifers, and with an additional filter for our drinking water, yet I don't know why we still buy bottled water ???  I prefer the taste of bottled water to tap water though.

In America, I go with tap water for the same reasons as you...But in poorer countries, I definitely go for bottle water or even Poweraid or something else like that just to be safe. I had to learn that lesson the hard way. :(

Well I know once I went on a vacation to Florida where the tap tasted like garbage nothing like New York's in my trip to California when I was recording my documentary I tasted tap water that wasn't similar to New York's but a bit... like it I could say but it wasn't better.

yeah, in manitoba, we have huge amounts of fresh water, but i just can't stand it.  I like bottled so much more.
