ATTN! A possible glitch via wifi concerning Friend Rosters!

...That`s what your probably hoping for on Brawl wifi, huh... You wanna have a few matches with some people here on NSF, but all you see is a loooooooooooooooong list of people with a messege saying waiting for regestration, eh? Well, your not the only one...

See here, I was just in a match with SilverHawk79. After a few matches, Joeofmars wanted to join, so we let him in. I was thinking ``That`s weird... Didn`t I add him a long time ago?`` I left after one more match, only to find him STILL not added... But what is this? There is a YELLOW CONNECTIN DOT beside his name, EVEN THOUGH HE ISN`T ADDED... Also, when he joined the match, you know how, when you are fighting somebody you don`t yet have on your list, a friend regestration button comes up? THAT WASN`T THERE!

When this first happened (Not seeing the FC button) I was just like ``Aw man, he didn`t add me yet!`` HOWEVER, when I saw him on the list, it showed the dot. That made me think...

``Wait! If the friend code button didn`t appear, that means that the list must of fixed itself... (due to me fighting him and all)``

But it didn`t...

What I`m trying to say is that I added him, I fought him without him appearing online for me, NO FRIEND REQUEST SHOWED (which means I have added him!), I go back to my list, see`s a yellow connection dot, AND STILL SAYS ``Awaitng Regestration``

Hmm... Reminds me on MPH. Metroid Prime Hunters for the Nintendo DS. It was a good wifi game, full of hackers, but still good. Anyways, to the point...

Sometimes, you would add a friend or rival, and you wouldn`t be able to see them online, because it would say ``Regestering Friend`` and all that junk, even when both people added each other. So, to fix this, you would have to delete a friend, delete a rival, re-add rival or friend to get it to work.

Durrrr... A problem here... SSBB DOESN`T HAVE A RIVAL SYSTEM!!!

Well, the only solution I can think of is to Re-Add everyone that you have added on your friend list that you still have no connection with. However, you should contact them, just to make sure they aded you (wouldn`t want to have to do extra work for nothing...).

Why this happens? Likely due to 2 things:

1: Adding way to many people to your FC at once (like I did :P )
2: Nintendo`s servers are being to run down by all this traffic and messing up our Friend Rousters.

Lastly, if your going to try and re-add some people, chances are that it won`t work unless BOTH PEOPLE RE-ADD THE OTHERS FRIEND CODE.

Well, that`s all I got to say. :S Looks like I have some re-adding to do. -.-

PS: If you get error codes in the 80,000s, and if it isn`t being caused by firewalls, it`s due to traffic on wifi. If you get this one a lot, it could mess it your FC list. But, I have no proof of that...Yet.

Something similar and more basic happened to me: My brother-in-law added me but it still says awaiting registration (Note: I only have one other Friend, and that is my brother.)!

Hmm. Interesting. Like I said, most of these are likely caused by server traffic. I mean, the day Brawl came out, nobody could even find matches online! :P

Lol, thats Ok. :P Actually, in numerous posts I made, I stated that I added everybody on the list. No harm done though. ;) Um... That's weird then... If you didn't add me... Then why didn't the Friend Request Icon appear...? Interesting...
