They don't have 2 of the same kind... they have 3! Fox,
Falco, and Wolf
. They have allmost the exact same moves and they the same final smash... wtf?

Tupin

Sakurai said there wouldn't be clones.

He must have lied....

1. I agree. Same with Toon Link and Link, and Captain Falcon and Ganondorf. So much lost potential for TL and Gdorf. T_T

2. Put a spoiler warning.
Wolf
, a clone?

LOL
Wolf
does indeed have the Star Fox setup, as characters of the same series should, but Wolf is the BEST character that was meant to be a clone I've seen in a while. They have the same setup, as previously mentioned, but they're still different. Very different, at that.

Now, people like Gannondorf and Captain Falcon should NOT have the same setup.

Yes, but when you stop and think, it would have been fairly easy to give both
Wolf
and
Falco
completely unique movesets. Despite this "Star Fox setup."

True, but they gave the same general movesets to the same general people, Mario and Luigi are two totally different characters, but have almost identical moves, which is understandable, if you think about it geek-ily. If Mario raised Luigi, Mario taught Luigi everything, including how to fight. BINGO.

>_>

People like Ganondorf and Falcon, however, make NO sense as clones -_-

I agree. When you have several characters from the same series, especially ones that are on a team together in their series, you can expect them to share similar moves. Now for
Wolf,
if you read the description of his Landmaster trophy it basically says that he analyzed Fox's Landmaster and modified it when he created his own. Couldn't it also be possible then for him to "analyze" Fox's fighting tactics and modify them a bit to use against him? It would explain why they're similar, yet still very much his own. Of course I could be using my imagination a bit too much. :P

Meh, maybe.

Just askin... you have any stages you need uploaded?

Linkman

yeah.... they could've at least changed up the final smash, i mean if falco says "Personally i prefer the air"

then how come he doesnt use an arwing or something else....

I was thinking the same thing... I wanted the arwing.

And for
toon link
they should have done the time stop from TP as his final smash.

Why should he have a Final Smash based on a completely different game?! They should have given him
The Ballad of Gales or something related to the Wind Waker. Even the Pirate Ship bombarding the stage would have been good. :|
Hrmm... If I did it'd be useless to try. My computer can't read SD cards directly. :D Is there something I can buy that would allow it to do that? I'd really like to upload some of my screenshots.

They sell SD card readers at fry's.

STOP THE PRESSES.

I just discovered that my father had one! :D I'm afraid I don't have any great stages that would be worth uploading though. The only thing I've made with the stage builder is an inefficient sticker factory.
